Volleyball Sweeps Tri-Match at Home
WETUMPKA, Ala. - Volleyball is back in the win column after defeating Dadeville and Brewbaker Tech at home on Tuesday night.
The Indians got off to a quick start in their first match of the evening against Dadeville, winning the first 25-9 and the second set 25-12.
The team's success continued into the night, taking down Brewbaker Tech in three sets. The Indians dropped the first set in a narrow 25-22 loss, but quickly bounced back. They won the second set 25-13 and notched the victory in the winner-take-all third set, 18-16.
Senior setter Cheyenne Boshell tallied 23 assists in the win against Brewbaker Tech. Hitters Camryn Foote and Jillian Hand joined the action against Brewbaker Tech and finished the match with ten and nine kills, respectively.
Volleyball will continue its six game homestand Thursday, Sept. 11th against Percy Julian.
