Volleyball Extends Win Streak Against Percy Julian
WETUMPKA, Ala. - Volleyball has extended its winning streak to three games after defeating Percy Julian in straight sets on Thursday.
The Indians won in dominating fashion, holding Percy Julian to single digits in all three sets.
The Indians won the first set 25-2, the second 25-6, and the third set 25-8.
The win moved the Indians overall record to 4-6 and 1-1 in region play.
Senior libero Ashlynn Turner tallied 10 aces across the match, leading the team in serving aces.
Senior Cheyenne Boshell led the team with 18 assists.
Carlynn Chumley and Camryn Foote had 9 and 8 kills, respectively.
The Indians will face off against Holtville on Monday, Sept. 15 at home and continue region play Tuesday, Sept. 16 against rival Stanhope Elmore during senior night.
