G Chris Robinson Named FCB Athlete of the Week for Jan. 12

WETUMPKA, Ala. - Senior guard Chris Robinson has been selected as the First Community Bank Athlete of the Week for Jan. 12.
Robinson's selection comes following a week where the Indians began area play, going 2-0 against Percy Julian and rival Stanhope Elmore, where Robinsons versatility was highlighted in both games.
In the first game of area play against Percy Julian, Robinson scored 13 points on an astounding 83% efficiency from the field. He added seven rebounds and led the team with eight assists. Robinson blocked a shot against the Pheonix as well. The Indians defeated the Pheonix 57-52.
During the rivalry game against Stanhope Elmore, Robinson led the team in scoring with 23 points. He snagged 8 rebounds and tallied 7 assists, leading the team in assists once again. He added two blocks and two steals to his box score as well. The Indians won 60-53.
Robinson and the Indians will be back in action at Park Crossing on Tuesday, Jan. 13 before hosting Stanhope Elmore on Friday, Jan. 16.
