Logan Fawcett named FCB Athlete of the Week for Sept. 29

WETUMPKA, Ala.- Senior linebacker Logan Fawcett has been selected as the First Community Bank Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 29.

Fawcett had an impressive defensive performance in the Indians 36-32 win at Eufaula this past week.

Fawcett tallied 11 total tackles, seven of them solo tackles and added another two tackles-for-a-loss.

The senior also plays under Head Coach Russ Brooks for the Indians baseball team, where he has been a standout throughout his career as a catcher. 

Fawcett was selected to play in the AHSAA All-Star Game as the catcher for the South team and is committed to playing baseball at the next level for Gadsen State Community College.
