Cheyenne Boshell Named FCB Athlete of the Week for Sept. 22

WETUMPKA, Ala. - Volleyball's senior setter Cheyenne Boshell has been named this week's First Community Bank Athlete of the Week. 

Boshell and the Indians are coming off a championship win at the Elmore County Block Party tournament where the team went 4-1 across the tournament. 

Boshell was involed early and often, tallying 52 assists across the five matches played. She added another 18 kills to her totals.

Earlier in the week, Boshell tallied a team-high 23 assists in a 3-1 victory against Holtville High School. 

Boshell's impressive assist numbers have helped the Indians' volleyball team win nine of its last ten games.

Boshell and the Indians will be back in action at 6:30 on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Percy Julian.
