Bennett Williams named FCB Athlete of the Week for Sept. 17

WETUMPKA, Ala. - Junior cross country runner Bennett Williams has been selected as this weeks First Community Bank Athlete of the Week.
Williams was the highest finisher for the Indians at the Early Bird Twilight in Montevallo on Saturday.
Williams crossed the line with a top-ten finish, coming in 8th place with a 5K time of 18:16.
The time marked a new personal best for Williams in the 5K race.
Williams and the rest of the cross country team will race again on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Oak Mountain High School Invitational.
